I'm Vocalizing! 1 - Lesson 5. Vivace
MP3 Tracks - Digital Download
Flexibility is a basic building block for the voice. If you learn to sing scales lightly with consistent airflow, you can avoid over-singing. Some people find it easier to stay on the "oh" vowel all the way to the bottom of the scale and then change to "cheh." As you do this exercise, free your knees, jaw, tongue, head, and neck. The exercise goes through six half-step modulations up the scale and then repeats the sequence from the beginning, gradually increasing the tempo with each modulation.
