I'm Vocalizing! 1 - Lesson 3. Latino Ee Eh Ah Oh Oo
MP3 Tracks - Digital Download
The Latin language uses the purest form of the five basic vowels. It has no diphthongs. (A diphthong is a syllable that consists of two vowels, such as "ah" and "ee" in the word "like.") Keep the air moving between vowels. Try looking in a mirror as you speak the five vowels and see how easily this can be accomplished. Increase the air flow to make the sound louder; decrease the air flow to soften the sound. The exercise repeats four times, modulating up a half step each time.
