AIMEE HONG was one of two winners at the Tahoma Chapter’s 2008 Scholarship Awards. She also was a co winner of the 2008 Federal Way Chorale Scholarship . Aimee will attend Western Washington State University next year. Aimee has been nominated for Best Actress in a featured role of Aunt Em in THE WIZ.

Eric Chapman, Danielle Spampinato, Kaydee Brown and Aimee Hong all appeared in featured roles in the current production of Federal Way High School’s THE WIZ. It received 10 nominations from the Fifth Avenue Theatre and will be featured in their upcoming awards show.

FORMER STUDENT, DANIELLE GREEN, has accepted the role of Musetta and will spend the summer in Italy, studying the role and learning Italian. She will be presented in a concert version of the opera, La Boheme.

Husband, Pianist/composer Tim Strong and I (Karen Oleson) will be giving a concert at Unity Church in Tacoma, WA. June 8th at 7:30pm celebrating the essential harmony of world religions. The Church is located at 2102 South 23rd Street, Tacoma, WA 98405-2807.
